Spalted Boxelder Vase

The wood for this vase came from Carroll Park in Baltimore. It was salvaged after a tornado hit the park in the 1990s. The turning is finished in blond shellac.

Sycamore Vase.

This vase is made up of 3/4" and 1-1/2" thick boards that are glued together. The vase is finished in wiping polyurethane.

I made this vase in a woodturning class I attended at Maryland Hall. The finish is Danish Oil and wax.

This Spalted Sassafras vase is finished with wiping polyurethane.

One of the early turnings I did. The wood is Sycamore, the finish is Blond Shellac. I got the log for this vase from my father-in-law.
