The board is run through the joiner to square 1 edge and the table saw to make the edges parallel.

Then the location of the gauges are laid out and the holes are drilled into the board for the gauges. |

After the holes are drilled there is a lot of sanding. |

At this stage I sand a project starting with 120 grit and ending with 240 grit. |
|

|
|
|
|
After the initial sanding I run the board through the router to round the edges. Then I sand from 240 grit to 400 grit. |
|

|
After the sanding I brand and sign the piece.
